Volcano Engine offers Seedance 2.5 4K model to 20 global studios

Volcano Engine has recently started the first batch of enterprise trials for its Seedance 2.5 4K model. The model is tied to specific works and given to 20 studios and directors worldwide, exploring high-end film production needs for the big screen.

Seedance 2.5 4K offers clearer picture details, more natural character performances, and better consistency in reference generation and editing. It is the strongest version in this model series. Among the 20 works in use, a top TV IP will air as early as next month, along with major global movie projects.

The model was first released in June this year. Its key upgrades focus on longer videos and precise control. A single video can now last 30 seconds, up from 15 seconds, which fits complete storytelling for short dramas. A new local editing feature lets users change faces, clothing, or props without redoing the whole video. The model also supports native 4K output that meets commercial delivery standards.
