Volcano Engine's Doubao 2.1 Pro Gets 0915 Update, API Now Live on Volcano Ark

Volcano Engine announced that Doubao 2.1 Pro has been updated to the 0915 version, with its API now fully available on Volcano Ark. Users can upgrade the Doubao app and select "Doubao 2.1 Pro (0915)" to try it. TRAE and Doubao-Seed-Evolving are also connected to this version, and enterprises do not need to change API access nodes.

This upgrade focuses on enterprise production needs, covering Agent task delivery, multimodal Coding, multimodal understanding, and Token efficiency. Agent tasks now have stronger evidence tracing and data verification, with significantly fewer hallucinations, making long report tasks in finance and office automation more reliable.

Multimodal Coding can understand complex code repositories and use VLM capabilities to turn design drafts and diagrams into front-end code. Video reasoning supports cross-frame integration, and image understanding is enhanced for 3D objects and dense graphics. Token consumption for image and video reasoning is reduced by over 30% compared to the previous generation.
