WeChat Employee Debunks AI Auto-Red Envelope Rumor; OpenClaw Has Security Risks Requiring Permission Management

A WeChat employee recently issued a statement denying the rumor of "using OpenClaw commands to let AI send red envelopes automatically". He stated that the QClaw in the screenshot has no mobile deployment plan yet, and PC WeChat does not support sending red envelopes. The person who made the meme has already clarified it, calling on everyone not to spread false information.

It should be noted that tools like OpenClaw involving AI automated decision-making have security risks. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's Network Security Threat and Vulnerability Information Sharing Platform found that some instances of its open-source AI agent have high security risks under default or improper configurations, which may lead to cyber attacks, information leakage, etc. Users are advised to manage permissions properly.
