WeChat Pay Tests AI Payment Feature with Tencent WorkBuddy

WeChat Pay is testing an AI payment feature with Tencent's smart assistant WorkBuddy, planning to launch an 'AI Card' in WeChat Wallet as early as this week. The feature aims to improve payment experience using AI, though WeChat Pay hasn't confirmed yet.

Earlier, WeChat Pay's AI toolkit upgraded to version 2.0, covering all product knowledge including payments and coupons. It now includes two AI expert capabilities: a tech expert for end-to-end troubleshooting and a financial-grade expert for code quality review, helping developers solve issues more efficiently.
