WhatsApp to Support Third-Party AI Bots

WhatsApp is working on native support for third-party AI bots, letting users connect them via API keys. Previously, attempts to link AI assistants like OpenClaw often led to account bans. Telegram, meanwhile, has become a popular platform for chatting with AI. The new feature will only work in private chats, not group chats or communities, and bots can't access other chats, contacts, or files. WhatsApp will warn users that AI replies may be wrong. The feature is still in development.
