Xiaomi MiMo retires old models as V2.6 takes over

As the model keeps improving, Xiaomi has officially taken its older models mimo-v2.5-pro and mimo-v2.5 offline. The new versions outperform the old ones in both quality and performance.

Since 6 pm on October 14, requests to the old models have been automatically routed to mimo-v2.6-pro and mimo-v2.6-flash. Note that the new models do not support custom temperature and top_p in thinking mode, and the default max_completion_tokens for mimo-v2.6-flash has risen to 131072.

The MiMo-V2.6 series was released and open-sourced on September 22, including two native omni-modal models, Pro and Flash. Pricing stays the same: Flash costs 1 yuan per million input tokens and 2 yuan per million output tokens, while Pro costs 3 and 6 yuan, with a 99% cache discount.

At the same level of intelligence, the price is only 1/20 to 1/60 of overseas models, and MiMo-V2.6 is now the highest-ranked open-source model on the AA index.
