Xiaomi OpenClaw AI Agent Phone Version Released, Computer Version Under Development

Xiaomi Group founder Lei Jun recently addressed questions about AI agents. He stated that Xiaomi has launched the first domestic phone version of OpenClaw (nicknamed "龙虾" in Chinese) and invited users to test it. When asked about the computer version of "小龙虾", Lei Jun confirmed it is under development.

OpenClaw, Xiaomi's official AI agent, supports one-sentence control of phones and Mi Home devices. It can understand user intentions, call apps or ecosystem functions to complete tasks, remember user habits, and handle vague commands. It also keeps growing—by accumulating experience via its memory system, it gets to know users better over time.

Lei Jun added that Xiaomi aims to be in the top tier of AI model development domestically and globally. The current model is newly released and needs further iteration, with more OpenClaw versions (including the computer one) coming soon.
