Xiaomi phones get national AI L3 certification

Xiaomi officially announced it received the L3 certification under the national standard for AI device intelligence levels, the highest level currently defined. The Xiaomi 17 Max phone got this certification.

Earlier, Huawei MateBook Pro was the first to get the L3 certification. The standard was released in May by several Chinese government departments, dividing AI device intelligence into levels L1 to L4.

L3 is the assistant level, while L4 will be defined later. This certification marks a key step in China's AI device standardization.
