Xiaomi Releases NAS User Demand Survey, Possibly Preparing for New Product Launch

Xiaomi recently released a 'NAS User Image Management Demand' survey, asking users about their NAS usage, reasons for not using cloud services to sync photos and videos, and how they manage camera materials, possibly preparing for a new product launch.

Previously, Xiaomi showed a 10G NAS product prototype in May 2024 but stated it was only a white model demonstration with no related plans at that time. Chen Bo, General Manager of Xiaomi Ecology Chain, revealed last year that the NAS new product was in the final stage of development, with a simple, elegant design and a sense of technology.

In addition, Xiaomi plans to launch IoT products such as Tag trackers, watches, NAS, and the new generation of AI glasses this year, and has registered the 'Xiaomi Smart Storage' trademark, covering hardware and software like computer storage devices and photo transfer software.
