Xiaomi's AI Layout Accelerates: MiMo Model Aims for Global First Tier, OpenClaw Beta Test Opens to Geeks
After Xiaomi's spring new product launch event, Lei Jun stated at the media briefing that we have entered a new AI era, and Xiaomi is fully laying out in the AI field, striving to enter the global first tier in the model sector. Its newly released MiMo large model needs continuous iteration and optimization.
Xiaomi recently opened the beta test application for OpenClaw (nicknamed "Lobster" in Chinese communities), which is built based on the MiMo large model. It is open to tech enthusiasts and geeks for small-scale testing, using an invitation code mechanism. Currently, the product is still being optimized in terms of stability and power consumption, so it is not recommended for ordinary users to upgrade on their main devices. In addition, the web version of OpenClaw has been launched on the MiMo Studio official website, allowing free experience of document generation, content creation and other functions.
The latest Xiaomi Laptop Pro14 is equipped with remote shutdown and wake-up functions, supporting remote control via tablets. In the future, when paired with the PC version of OpenClaw, users can remotely wake up their laptops to handle work.
