Xingchen Intelligence launches rope-driven robot T1, starting at $12,400
Xingchen Intelligence has launched the T1, a rope-driven robot priced from $12,400, with shipping starting June 1. Standing 1.55 meters tall and weighing 66 kg, it has 23 degrees of freedom and can lift 5 kg per arm. Designed for both home and commercial use, the T1 uses a self-developed rope-driven system that mimics human tendons, allowing it to absorb impact during collisions. Demos showed it mixing drinks, hanging laundry, and cooking steak. The robot also has customizable ports for different tools and computing modules, plus auto-charging and battery swapping. Xingchen says it can handle chores, business tasks, and research.
