Zhipu's GLM Coding Plan returns with a points system and weekend discounts
Zhipu has brought back its AI coding subscription, GLM Coding Plan, with updated plans and pricing. The new system uses a clear points model, where input, output, and cache usage are converted into points based on public rules, so users can easily track their consumption. Until August 15, 2026, annual plans get 30% off, and quarterly plans get 20% off. Both new and existing users can enjoy weekend discounts, and users can now apply to try the high-speed version, with priority for old plan holders. Current subscribers, including team plans, keep their pricing and benefits, and can continue, renew, or upgrade as before. For old v1 users, since the original plan was removed in February, they can still use it until it expires, and then buy at the v2 price for long-term use, with this feature coming within two weeks. GLM Coding Plan supports natural language coding, debugging, codebase Q&A, and automated tasks, giving developers an all-in-one AI coding experience.
