Zhiyuan's robot plays ping-pong on its own
Zhiyuan's robot, the Yuanzheng A3, is the first full-size two-legged humanoid robot to play ping-pong completely on its own. It sees the ball, predicts its path, moves its body, and hits it accurately without any remote control or human help.
The breakthrough came from working with Peking University. Using a special algorithm called SpikePingpong and a high-speed camera, the robot's vision is 10 times faster than before, allowing it to predict the ball's landing spot within millimeters.
Zhiyuan has already shipped over 10,000 humanoid robots for use in guided tours, factories, and other services.
