116 Companies Urge Stronger Cybersecurity in AI Era

On August 27, 116 companies and organizations, including OpenAI, Anthropic, Microsoft, Alphabet, and Amazon, jointly signed an open letter urging businesses and policymakers worldwide to prioritize cybersecurity and take decisive action to strengthen defenses in the AI era. The letter warns that as AI models evolve, AI-powered cyberattacks will become more rampant, calling on governments and industry leaders to fully commit technology, resources, and expertise to tackle the challenge.
