38 Countries Join the New World AI Cooperation Organization
A new step has been made in global AI governance cooperation. At a press conference held by China's National Development and Reform Commission, officials shared updates on the World AI Cooperation Organization: China is now pushing the group into full operation, and 38 countries have joined as founding members.
Wang Ruomeng, a senior official from the commission, said they will carry out the Global AI Governance Initiative, work with all parties based on mutual respect and shared benefits, and firmly promote open and inclusive AI.
The organization encourages each country to build AI systems that fit its own culture and development needs. Moving forward, members will align their AI strategies, governance rules, and technical standards to deliver practical results as soon as possible.
