Adobe Firefly Adds Audio Features for Music, Voice, and Sound Effects

Adobe announced on August 20 that its creative AI studio Firefly now includes three new audio features, available to all users. You can create music, voiceovers, and sound effects in one workspace, reducing the need to switch between apps and AI models. These tools are useful for social content, live streams, short films, tutorials, and podcast clips.

The Generate Music feature uses the Firefly Music Model to create original tracks based on video length and mood, with commercial safety licensing. Generate Speech works with Firefly Speech or ElevenLabs models to turn text into voiceovers, letting you adjust voice, speed, and emotion. Generate Sound Effects uses the Firefly Audio Model to create custom effects based on actions, rhythm, and atmosphere.
