Alibaba Cloud's AI Computing Power and Storage Products Rise by Up to 34%, Driven by Global Demand and Token Call Volume
For businesses relying on cloud AI resources, cost increases may impact daily operations. Alibaba Cloud recently announced price hikes for AI computing power and storage products, with a maximum increase of 34%.
Among them, computing power cards like the T-Head Zhenwu 810E saw a 5% to 34% rise, while the file storage product CPFS (Intelligent Computing Edition) increased by 30%.
The price hike is mainly driven by the global AI demand surge, rising supply chain costs, and explosive growth in token call volume. Alibaba Cloud's MaaS business Bailian recorded its highest growth rate in January-March this year, and the company is shifting scarce AI computing resources to token-related businesses.
