Alibaba Cloud's Wuying Team Unveils QwenBook, a Native AI Agent Computer, at Yunqi Conference
Alibaba Cloud's Wuying team is developing an AI device called QwenBook, positioned as a native AI agent computer with a form factor similar to a tablet paired with a keyboard touchpad. A demo version was shown at the 2026 Yunqi Conference.
QwenBook features a tablet plus keyboard touchpad design. Its system interface resembles Apple's macOS, supporting freely adjustable app windows and Qwen voice assistant activation. The back has a dual-camera module, with half of it being a small circular screen that can display cartoon characters. The keyboard supports both Windows and macOS layouts and includes a dedicated Qwen button.
The device has integrated Alibaba services like Taobao, DingTalk, and Alibaba Cloud Drive, and is deeply collaborating with Kingsoft to develop WPS functionality. The team also built system-level tools including voice notes, Wiki, smart folders, a custom email client, knowledge base MyNote, and memory management app MyZone.
The demo showcased mainly presents the product concept, with the full version expected to launch by the end of this year or early next year.
