Alibaba DingTalk CEO Chen Hang: AIQ Will Be Future Enterprises' Core Indicator Instead of KPI/OKR

Chen Hang, founder and CEO of Alibaba DingTalk/Wukong, recently proposed that the core indicator of future enterprises will shift from KPI and OKR to AIQ (AI Quotient). AIQ includes three dimensions: prompt literacy, algorithm empathy, and judgment sharpness. The indicators to measure a company's AIQ are Token utilization rate, experience digitization rate, and code monetization time.

Chen Hang provided a three-step plan to improve AIQ: cognitive leap (AI is a new operating system), information infrastructure (AI transcription for meetings within 30 days, core processes connected to AI within 60 days), and organizational restructuring (pilot teams cancel daily/weekly reports, AI automatically summarizes).

Hiring in the AI era requires three points: sincerity and reliability (high AIQ people have amplified risks), open mindset, and academic background/experience/age no longer matter—AI can fill knowledge gaps, and those with rich experience and open to AI are more valuable.
