Code found on DeepSeek's site hints at a Cyber security model with its own API
Developers have found an application entry and API logic for a "Cyber" cybersecurity model in the front-end code of DeepSeek's official website. The page has a permission gate, and accounts without access are redirected back to the usage page.
Two model IDs showed up in the code: cyber-personal-v3 for individual security professionals, which requires ID info and face verification, and cyber-enterprise-v4 for companies, which also needs a business license and an authorization letter. Both require real-name verification, registration in mainland China with a mainland phone number, and no violations in the past 90 days. Once approved, users can create a Cyber Key.
The entry is now in limited gray testing and not visible in public menus. It suggests DeepSeek may be splitting its cybersecurity features from its general model into a separate identity and key system. The company has not made any official announcement, and the launch timing and pricing remain unclear.
