Alibaba Offers Token Credits for AI Tools to Employees: Internal Tools Free, External Tools Reimbursable

Many office workers face cost issues when using paid AI tools for work. Recently, Alibaba launched an internal program to provide token credits to employees, encouraging them to use AI models and tools in their work.

The program covers tech R&D and general office scenarios: employees can use internal AI tools like Wukong and Qoder series for free (which were previously paid); if they purchase memberships like the 百炼 Coding Plan or external AI development tools, they can also apply for company reimbursement. This initiative aims to lower the threshold for employees to use AI tools and improve work efficiency.
