Alibaba Releases Qwen-UI-Agent, a GUI Agent Model That Matches Top Rivals

Alibaba has launched Qwen-UI-Agent, a GUI agent model focused on real-world tasks, covering mobile, desktop, web, and deep search. On mobile tests, it scored 97.5%, near perfect, beating GPT-5.6 Sol and Claude Opus 4.8. On desktop, it hit 79.5% on OSWorld-Verified, surpassing rivals and using 58% fewer steps.

The model was trained on 100+ real phones and 150+ apps, bridging simulation and reality. For safety, it refuses risky requests and pauses for confirmation on sensitive actions. It also handles command-line tasks, outputs multiple actions at once, and uses advanced reinforcement learning for long tasks.
