Alibaba Sets Goal to Exceed $100 Billion in Cloud and AI Commercial Revenue in Five Years

At Alibaba Group's 2026 fiscal Q3 earnings call, CEO Wu Yongming announced that Alibaba Cloud's external commercial revenue exceeded 100 billion RMB by the end of February 2026. Meanwhile, Alibaba set a long-term AI market goal: over the next five years, commercial revenue from cloud and AI (including Model-as-a-Service, MaaS) will exceed 100 billion US dollars.

This goal reflects Alibaba's strategic shift to an AI-centric technology architecture.
