Alipay boosts AI payment incentive plan, developers can get up to 5660 yuan in token subsidies

Alipay announced an upgrade to its "AI payment developer incentive plan," offering AI developers up to 5,660 yuan in token subsidies and expanding the incentive scope to lower the entry barrier. From now until August 21, developers who sign up and integrate "AI pay-as-you-go," "AI web app payment," or "AI mobile app payment" can unlock five reward tiers based on cumulative valid transaction users, with a maximum cumulative value of 5,660 yuan in Alibaba Cloud token packages.

Specifically, 10 cumulative valid transaction users unlock 10 yuan, 100 unlock 50 yuan, 1,000 unlock 100 yuan, 5,000 unlock 500 yuan, and 50,000 unlock 5,000 yuan, with the five tiers stacking up to 5,660 yuan. Completing the first four tiers only yields 660 yuan, with the bulk of the reward concentrated at the 50,000-user tier. Additionally, individual developers using "AI pay-as-you-go" can enjoy zero-fee rates until the end of 2026.
