Alipay Launches AI Agent Award with 10 Million Yuan Annual Fund

Alipay has announced the launch of the "AI Agent Emergence Award," with an annual fund of 10 million yuan and a grand prize of 1 million yuan. The award has quarterly and annual rounds. First-round winners receive a 5,000 yuan reward, and the annual winner will be announced in Q4 2027.

No coding is required, and there are no tool restrictions. Participants can use VibeCoding platforms like Qmuse to generate agents or apps via conversation and submit a public URL, or use CLI commands to submit. Business developers can access Alipay's AI open platform.

Regular users can also join by making a "wish" — sharing a real need that developers may build. Selected "Golden Ideas" win 2,000 yuan. The award focuses on two areas: "Life Helper" for individual developers and "New Consumption Experience" for businesses. Some apps may also reach Alipay's 1 billion users.
