Alipay Launches AI Wallet Agent, Moving AI Payments Toward Trusted Payments

At the 2026 Bund Summit, Alipay announced that AI payments are moving from "payable" to "trusted payments." The company will launch an AI wallet agent to help individuals manage every AI payment.

Alipay's "AI Receive" introduced three capabilities: Vibe Pay, Skill Pay, and Machine Pay, covering business scenarios such as AI app creation, Skill monetization, and machine connectivity. Users can enable payment collection for their products without knowing how to code. Meanwhile, "AI Pay" launched three new e-commerce scenarios: AI recurring purchases, AI snatch helper, and AI booking helper.

"AI Pay" uses APASS, a commercial trust infrastructure built by Ant Group. Based on the KYA concept, APASS establishes a full-process trust mechanism around agent identity, intent, authorization, and behavior.
