Anhui TV airs China's first AI-made TV series

Anhui TV has started airing 'Peach Blossom Pond', China's first fully AI-produced TV series to get a broadcast license. The show has 20 episodes, each about 10 minutes long, based on the 108 steps of traditional Xuan paper making in Jing County. It tells a story from the Ming Dynasty about a royal guard protecting the paper craft. Every scene is labeled 'AI-made'. The series is guided by local government and produced by several companies, airing since July 22 at 9:50 PM on Anhui TV. It first streamed on CCTV's platform on July 4.
