Ant Group launches LingGuang 2.0 for proactive AI task management

Ant Group has released LingGuang 2.0, moving AI assistants from passive command execution to proactive task management. With user permission, the AI can spot potential needs on its own, then analyze, monitor, and follow up. The upgrade relies on cross-session memory, long-term task scheduling, and tool connections. Running on an independent cloud host, LingGuang keeps working even after users log off. In daily life, it can review Alipay bills to find forgotten auto-renewal subscriptions, track flight and hotel prices, and organize school group notices from DingTalk. Long-term tasks like pet care and kids' vaccinations are covered too. For safety, LingGuang 2.0 uses Ant Group's APASS system, adding identity checks and privacy protection. Users can view, adjust, or cancel permissions anytime.
