Ant's Ling-3.0-flash open-sourced, Huawei Ascend ready on day one
Ant Group open-sourced its new native hybrid reasoning model Ling-3.0-flash yesterday, focusing on high intelligence density, full Agent workflows, and low-cost scaling. Today, Huawei announced that its Ascend platform is compatible from day one, using the new CANN PyPTO framework to speed up operator delivery. The setup works with Ascend A2 and A3 series, letting developers quickly start inference services. CANN PyPTO uses a tile-based programming approach, where developers define logic with Tensor APIs and the framework handles scheduling and code generation. The CANNBot PyPTO Agent uses multiple AI agents to break operator development into 7 automatic stages, from natural language input to a ready-to-use operator, without manual steps. This greatly shortens delivery time and improves the developer experience.
