Apple Releases New Siri AI, Not Available in Mainland China at Launch
At Apple's 2026 fall product launch, CEO John Ternus announced the iPhone as an 'intelligent personal hub' and introduced the new Siri AI. The AI plans to support 16 languages including English, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese, but it won't be available in Mainland China at launch.
The initial features of the new Siri AI are basic, including spell correction, asking questions with photos, and photo AI to remove objects and change perspective. Currently, Siri AI is available in English as a beta, with French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish support coming in October.
