AWS Partners with FIA to Shape Next-Gen F1 Rules with AI

The International Automobile Federation (FIA) has announced a new partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS). Together, they will use cloud computing and AI to drive innovation across racing, from grassroots events all the way up to Formula 1. Under the deal, AWS becomes FIA's official AI and cloud computing partner. It will play a key role in shaping the next generation of F1 car rules, providing aerodynamic simulations and helping manage race events. AWS will also give AI tools to FIA's engineering team to boost their rule-making work. FIA already uses AWS high-performance computing to test car performance in virtual environments, cutting the need for physical testing. The partnership aims to make racing safer, faster, and more sustainable, while opening the sport up to more people around the world.
