Beijing unveils measures to boost AI agents, builds first token factory
Beijing's government has released measures to accelerate the development of AI agents and shape the new AI economy. The city's economic development zone built its first token factory, which can produce 1.4 trillion tokens daily, supporting model training and applications. The first national AI data training base also launched with a sandbox mechanism for data regulation, connecting data flows in healthcare, aerospace, and self-driving sectors. Each year, Beijing invests hundreds of millions in computing, model, and data vouchers, and launched the first instant model voucher platform to lower startup costs. The first open-source infrastructure for AI agents was released, providing a secure and controllable runtime environment. Partnering with top open-source communities, Beijing offers full-cycle services from tech exchange to business rollout. The measures also promote token economy development, pushing for general processors and dedicated inference chips, and optimizing token efficiency across the entire chain. Eight AI agent communities have been built, covering areas like native AI development and digital content creation, with hundreds of quality orders already placed.
