Beijing unveils new rules to boost AI agents and token economy
Beijing's government has released new policies to speed up the development of AI agents and create a new smart economy. The rules encourage a "Token economy," pushing companies to build chips and processors that work better with AI agents, making them faster and more efficient.
Key tech improvements include better reasoning systems and smarter scheduling to cut costs and boost token efficiency. New business models like "Token as a service" and "Agent as a service" are supported, with eligible token products added to a voucher program for small businesses.
To help AI agents grow, Beijing is offering more computing power vouchers and exploring token and agent service vouchers. Banks and insurers can create financial products for AI agent use, and companies are encouraged to share data to create a "data flywheel" that continuously improves AI agent abilities.
