Broadcom Launches VMWare AI Factory to Speed Up Enterprise AI Deployment
Broadcom today announced the launch of VMWare AI Factory, a software-defined foundation for VMWare AI private cloud that simplifies AI infrastructure deployment through automation, offering enterprises an easier path to AI productivity. The product enables direct deployment of AI applications into enterprise private cloud environments. Its VCF (VMware Cloud Foundation) infrastructure automation cuts server-to-AI-model service time from weeks to hours. VCF pools GPU resources across the enterprise, allowing multiple teams to run various models on shared hardware without dedicated servers per AI. A unified model repository gives data science teams a single interface to manage model inference and RAG workflows across VMs, containers, and GPUs. Built-in observability monitors token throughput, latency, and compute/memory usage, helping maximize token efficiency. VMWare AI Factory supports VCF AI ReadyNodes certified products from Cisco, Dell, Lenovo, Supermicro, and others, while being compatible with AI models like Gemma 4, cotomi, Qwen 3.7-Max, and GLM 5.2.
