ByteDance launches Doubao Work, an AI agent deeply integrated with Feishu for office efficiency

ByteDance today launched Doubao Work, a new agent product for productivity, which can autonomously break down tasks, call tools, and handle complex workflows. It's deeply integrated with Feishu, allowing it to work accurately using company context. The desktop version is available for download, and new users get a 30-day free trial.

Doubao Work can create and edit content like proposals, meeting notes, reports, tables, and data analysis, plus generate images, videos, web pages, and apps. Its AI-assisted editing lets users select any part to tweak instead of regenerating everything, saving time and computing power.

For tougher tasks, it can control your browser and computer, work across apps, process data, gather info online, and even run in the cloud so tasks continue even if your PC is off. You can also control it remotely from your phone.

It also offers skills, connectors, and multi-agent teamwork for areas like data analysis, research, and finance. By linking with Feishu, it taps into your company's knowledge and context, and saves your work back to Feishu. Security is top-notch, with strict permissions and full-chain protection, and it's passed China's official certifications for office agents.
