Can mimic human actions in real time! West Lake University's Titan o1 robot leads global tech by at least 6 months
West Lake Robot Company, incubated by West Lake University, has launched the humanoid robot Titan o1, equipped with the world's first GAE (General Action Expert) avatar system. It can mimic human actions in real time, break geographical limits, and give humans an 'avatar'-like ability.
GAE is a general action pre-trained large model, equivalent to the robot's 'general cerebellum', enabling the robot to make appropriate actions instantly. Developed independently by the team, it claims to be at least 6 months ahead of similar international technologies and supports cross-body use, meaning robots of different structures can load it.
Titan o1 is easy to operate—no programming or pre-training needed. Just put on a motion capture suit to control it remotely, and it supports 'one-to-many' control. The original intention of the research is to let robots replace humans in dangerous work like fire rescue and mining, and it will be applied to supermarkets, stages and other scenes in the future.
