China Academy of Information and Communications Technology Launches ATH Protocol & Open Source Agent Community with Tencent, Huawei
To address industrial interaction security gaps and break trust barriers in the open source agent ecosystem, the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) launched an open source agent community with industry partners via the Cloud Computing Open Source Industry Alliance. The community brings together enterprises and research institutions to solve trust and security issues in collaborative interactions of open source agents, promoting safe technology iteration and large-scale application.
CAICT also co-initiated the Agent Trusted Handshake Protocol (ATH) 1.0 with China Telecom, China Unicom, China Mobile Jiutian AI, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen), ZTE, Tencent, and Huawei. Focusing on cross-platform interaction scenarios of multi-agents, the protocol covers identity verification, access control, and behavior audit, providing technical standards for the industry. ATH 1.0 has been open-sourced on AtomGit and GitHub.
Adhering to six core principles like user sovereignty and trusted handshake, ATH builds a collaborative mechanism between users, agents, and applications. It forms a standardized system for identity verification and secure sessions, enabling comprehensive trusted governance of agent interaction behaviors.
