China Builds Over 126,000 High-Quality Datasets, Total Exceeds 1,815PB
The 2026 China International Big Data Industry Expo is being held in Guiyang, Guizhou. According to the latest data from the National Data Administration, as of August, China has built over 126,000 high-quality datasets, totaling more than 1,815PB, an increase of over 89% from the end of the first quarter. High-quality datasets refer to data collections that have been processed and are ready for training AI models to improve performance. Since the national dataset management service system launched in April, it has released over 1,700 datasets, steadily increasing data supply. This year's expo also features a 'dataset market' for the first time, where 95 data companies are showcasing 253 premium data products, helping to connect data providers and users more precisely.
