China launches first homegrown GPU and brain-inspired chip hybrid inference system, doubling cost efficiency
At the 2026 China Computing Conference in Langfang, Hebei, Mobile Cloud teamed up with several Chinese research institutes and universities to launch China's first hybrid inference system combining homegrown GPUs and brain-inspired chips for large models.
Tests with Deepseek V4 show the system doubles cost efficiency compared with similar domestic GPU clusters and cuts operating costs by over 40%. It splits model tasks so GPUs handle Attention while brain-inspired chips process delay-sensitive FFN modules.
With a custom compiler, high-speed interconnect, and unified inference engine, the system overcomes traditional single-GPU bottlenecks and suits token factories, AI code generation, multi-agent coordination, and security-sensitive industries.
