China Unicom Launches Quantum Secure Phone 2.0 with Built-in AI Features
At China Unicom's 2026 Partner Conference, its subsidiary Zhongxun Institute officially launched the Quantum Secure Phone 2.0. Building on the first quantum secure phone released in May 2025, the new model offers full-chain mobile security for government, discipline inspection, state-owned enterprises, and financial institutions.
The phone keeps three core components: customized enterprise terminals, Quantum Secure Messaging, and a quantum-safe SIM card. The terminal is deeply customized from a mainstream Chinese flagship phone with 100% domestic components. The messaging service provides encrypted calls, meetings, and documents. The SIM card integrates national cryptographic chips and quantum random number chips to prevent cracking.
Version 2.0 deeply integrates AI capabilities, including on-device offline security AI and an encrypted voice transcription engine. It also connects to Unicom Cloud Phone and UniClaw agent, improving office efficiency while keeping data on the device. The product has already been widely deployed in government, military, and state-owned enterprise sectors.
