Doubao Phone Assistant Consumer Version Launches on Nubia NaviX Ultra

The consumer version of Doubao Phone Assistant has officially launched, focusing on stability, everyday usability, and interaction experience compared to the preview version. It supports voice and a dedicated AI button for wake-up, with fingerprint authentication on the AI button so users can call the assistant without unlocking again.

A new screen Q&A feature lets users ask questions without taking screenshots or switching apps. For example, pointing the camera at a room and asking for a cabinet under 1.2 meters and 1,000 yuan helps the assistant find matching products on e-commerce platforms. A local search tool retrieves photos, messages, and notes, and the recording experience now integrates with Feishu Miaoju.

Doubao Phone Assistant opens its "operate phone" feature in Beta and introduces the Screen Automation Operation Declaration Protocol (SAEP). Third-party apps can declare their operation boundaries, and those that explicitly refuse won't be automated. The first consumer version will launch on the Nubia NaviX Ultra, available on September 16.
