Glory's Humanoid Robot 'Lightning' Visits Nanjing University, Competes in 100m Sprint with Students
On May 17, the 'Run Robot - Glory Robot Campus Tour' event came to Nanjing University. Glory's self-developed humanoid robot 'Lightning' competed in 8 rounds of 1V5 100m sprints with Nanjing University athletes, coser students and ordinary students. With autonomous perception navigation and obstacle avoidance capabilities, it raced on the track, drawing cheers from teachers and students.
'Lightning' has an effective leg length of 0.95 meters and is equipped with a self-developed high-dynamic motion system, with a joint peak torque of 400 N·m. The R&D team applied consumer electronics technologies such as liquid cooling and Qinghai Lake battery to it, ensuring stable operation under high load. Previously, it won the Beijing Yizhuang Humanoid Robot Half Marathon and broke the human half-marathon world record for the first time as a robot.
