GMKtec launches EVO-X5 Pro desktop AI supercomputer, runs 320B LLMs locally
GMKtec has officially launched the EVO-X5 Pro, a desktop AI supercomputer powered by the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 processor. It packs up to 192GB of LPDDR5X-8533 memory and can run 320B-parameter large language models (LLMs) locally, targeting professionals who need on-device AI inference.
The EVO-X5 Pro features three M.2 2280 SSD slots, two USB-C 80Gbps ports, two USB-C 40Gbps ports, and two 10GbE RJ-45 connections. It also includes an independent TPM 2.0 module and supports out-of-band management, balancing high-speed storage with network expansion.
Two configurations are available: 192GB+2TB at $6,799 regular, $6,599 early bird, and $6,399 super early bird for 30 limited units; 192GB+4TB at $7,099 regular, $6,899 early bird, and $6,699 super early bird.
