Google AI Pro Subscription Storage Increases to 5TB, Monthly Fee Remains $19.99

Google announced that the cloud storage capacity of its Google AI Pro subscription (monthly fee $19.99) will increase from 2TB to 5TB for global users, with no price change. The storage can be used for services like Gmail, Google Drive, and Google Photos.

Previously, AI Pro and the $9.99 tier both had 2TB storage, so the $19.99 premium was mainly supported by Gemini3's AI features. After this storage expansion, the gap in basic storage between the two tiers has finally widened. For reference, the next storage tier is 10TB ($49.99/month), the top-tier AI Ultra ($249.99/month) offers 30TB, and the lowest AI Plus tier ($7.99/month) only has 200GB.
