Google's Gemini May Introduce Ads in the Future, Company Is Preparing
Philipp Schindler, Chief Business Officer of Alphabet (Google's parent company), recently stated that Gemini may introduce ads in the future. He mentioned that ads have always been an important way to scale products to billions of users, and if executed properly, they can create value and provide useful commercial information.
Google is still preparing related work and will not rush; it will announce specific plans at the right time. If tests go well, ads may first appear on the mobile version of Gemini. Additionally, the industry already has cases like OpenAI placing ads in ChatGPT, and there were rumors last December that Google planned to introduce ads for Gemini in 2026.
