Hongguo Short Drama sets rules for AI characters to reduce repetitive faces

Hongguo Short Drama has released new rules for AI-generated drama characters. They focus on making characters look different from each other and following copyright laws. The goal is to reduce the use of similar AI faces across shows. The rules say main characters should have clear and unique looks. Creators should avoid using the same face for different shows or roles to keep viewers interested. On copyright, the rules forbid using others' character designs, costumes, or props without permission. They also ban stealing copyrighted photos or artworks. The platform will start a special check soon to fix problems like reused AI faces, similar content, and copyright issues. It asks creators to check their own work and fix any problems. Earlier, Hongguo Short Drama already made it harder for some AI shows to get approved. For categories like urban romance, it now requires better scene transitions, character looks, facial expressions, and sound sync. Shows that don't meet these standards will be sent back for improvements to ensure a good viewing experience.
