Honor's Self-developed Robots 'Shandian' and 'Yuanqizai' Enter Nanjing University; Kenyan Star Sawe Sends Congratulations
Honor's self-developed robots 'Shandian' and 'Yuanqizai' recently participated in graduation season interactive activities at Nanjing University. Kenyan long-distance running star Sebastian Sawe sent a video greeting, mentioning the rapid development of China's robot technology: it took humans 118 years to run a full marathon in under 2 hours, while 'Shandian'—only 7 months since its project launch—has broken the human half-marathon record. Sawe said humans and technology progress together, and he looks forward to competing with 'Shandian' in the future.
During the event, 'Shandian' competed in 1V5 100-meter sprints with Nanjing University sports students, showing strong starting explosive power and environmental adaptability; 'Yuanqizai' led teachers and students on a campus check-in tour and interacted with students by shaking hands and making heart gestures. Honor's robot team completed the R&D in only 7 months, applying battery and liquid cooling technologies from the consumer electronics field. Next, these two robots will also be displayed at Zhejiang University, Tsinghua University and other universities.
