Huawei and Shanghai launch new AI innovation hub
Shanghai's Qingpu district has launched the Yangtze River Delta AI+ Innovation Center, built with Huawei and its partners. The 5,400-square-meter center uses a '6+1' tech setup to boost AI development and real-world use. The '6+1' includes centers for open-source HarmonyOS, Kunpeng and Ascend tech, AI apps, and more, plus a public computing base. It works with Huawei's Lianqiu Lake R&D center to cover everything from basic research to market-ready apps. Qingpu officials call it a test ground, incubator, showcase, and networking hub for AI innovation.
