Huawei Xiaoyi App Opens Beta Test: Xiaoyi Claw Upgraded to Xiaoyi Work

Huawei's Xiaoyi App has opened a beta test for version 11.7.8.215 on the Huawei App Gallery. The test runs from September 21 to 30, 2026. Users need to receive an SMS notification and click the link to install it.

According to user feedback, the new version adds Xiaoyi Work and removes the Xiaoyi Claw feature entry. This means Xiaoyi Claw will be upgraded to Xiaoyi Work in future versions. Huawei announced the internal test of Xiaoyi Work on September 16.

The service is positioned as an AI work assistant for daily office tasks, code development, and creative work. It supports HarmonyOS phones, tablets, and computers. Xiaoyi Work can receive user goals, break down tasks, arrange steps, call tools, and push execution forward. Task progress can be viewed, and key points are reviewed by users.
