Meituan upgrades AI assistant 'Xiaotuan' and launches Agent platform CatPaw

Meituan announced a major upgrade for its local life AI assistant 'Xiaotuan', adding agent execution capabilities to directly help users place orders, book taxis, and make reservations. After users make requests, 'Xiaotuan' can use real-time info to offer one-stop service from planning to execution.

Meituan also launched CatPaw, a full-scenario AI Agent platform, which has been deployed internally covering 90,000 employees and over 30,000 Agents. The platform has been tested in real business scenarios like restaurants, beauty salons, and pet hospitals, running 24/7 in the cloud even when devices are off or disconnected.
